I don't like to say this but you have lot of mistake in your text. For example you must use “, “ after using starters (actually), you must use uppercase letter at beginning of sentences (Actually, But, For example not actually, but, for example), when you use tag question you must use “,” before your tag , when you use negative abbreviation you must use “ ‘ “ (doesn’t not doesent), and also above all, the word “ someone” is singular and you must use third person “s” (someone tells me not tell me) and etc

!now it is my turn to tell your mistakes

  in this text you must use "a "  before  lot of and if you dont wanna use "a" before lot ,you shoud say lots of.

on the other hand using capital letter at biginning of

I remember my father was saying this proverb when I was a teenager، everyone is the architect of his own fortune
معنی جمله بالا میشه: یادم می آید (حال) وقتی نوجوان بودم (گذشته ی ساده) میگفت (گذشته ی استمراری) هرکس معمار ثروت خودش است

ولی وقتی اولش میگی when I was a teenager انگار میخوای راجب یه اتفاق در دوران نوجوانیت یعنی گذشته بگی و بعد نمیتونی بگی یادم می آید و از حال استفاده کنی
امیدوارم درست گفته باشم و مفهوم رو رسونده باشم :).

@Soleyman-h_o_ نه من عادی نمیخوام بگم قوائد درستش برام مهمه من خودم قبول دارم که باید از past continuous استفاده کنیم

ولی نمیدونم چرا بعضیا میگن اگه قبل. father از was استفاده کنیم اشتباهه!

نظرمن اینه که father was saying درستشه ، حالا نمیدونم من زبانم خیلی خوب نیست بقیه شاید بدونن
